Buried In Verona is an Australian Hardcore band from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, formed in 2007. In 2008 they recorded their first album, Circle the Dead, with Australian producer DW Norton. Their second album, Saturday Night Sever was recorded and produced by Fredrik Nordström in Gothenburg, Sweden.[1][2]

The singer Brett Anderson has also featured in a song made by the Swedish band Solitude (band) called "Last Division."[3]

Buried In Verona have toured with the likes of Bermuda, The Amity Affliction, Wish for Wings, Never See Tomorrow, British India, Whitechapel, Furcurve, Coma Lies, Evergreen Terrace, Resist the Thought, Soilwork, The Devil Wears Prada (band), The Haunted, Pierce the Veil, Silent Screams, Escape the Fate and Confession. Their sound can best be described as a mix of Hardcore, Metalcore and Death Metal.[4]

Buried in Verona has featured in the "Top 25 Bands to Look Out For" list in both the December 2009 and December 2010 editions of Blunt Magazine.[5]

On Wednesday, the 20th of July, 2011 Buried In Verona announced on their official Facebook page that they had parted ways with members; Mick Taylor & Kat Chituta. This led to Sean Gynn, formerly of the Sydney band Azlock to become a permanent replacement for guitar as well as Nate Martin who would also be taking on guitar for the band. Daniel Gynn is currently in the place of Scott Richmond as bass guitarist owing to a hand injury.

In 2011, the band announced plans for a new album, The Notorious B.I.V set for release in 2012.[6]
